A collaboration of the Wyoming Economic Development Association, Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce, and Wyoming Main Street, this campaign focuses on business recovery guidelines and marketing assistance. 

Shop Smart - Shop Safe

Shop Smart – Shop Safe is a statewide collaboration and campaign with Wyoming Main Street, Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce, and Wyoming Economic Development Association.

“Shop Smart” refers to the importance of shopping locally and supporting your local economy. “Shop Safe” focuses on shopping with new safety standards in mind – which include social distancing, increased sanitation, customer limits, alternative ways to shop, and more.

This campaign focuses on how to help business recovery from a post-pandemic world. The materials that are available to use include:

  • Shop Smart Logo and customized versions for local use
  • Window clings (provided by Wyoming Main Street and available to local organizations or businesses)
  • Business recovery checklist – general guidelines following current health orders and resources to find up to date information
  • Marketing checklist - ideas to help market your business
  • Window flyer and social media assets - Facebook and Instagram templates for customization and a flyer for businesses to post in their location(s)
  • Social media caption ideas

Wyo Wednesdays

Wyo Wednesdays is a part of the Shop Smart campaign, a day dedicated to events and promotions happening in conjunction around the state. To be held the first Wednesday of each month, it encourages shoppers to explore and support their downtown businesses. 

 Check out your local Main Street’s social media or website to see what is happening in your community. They may include promotions at downtown businesses, events or other activities.

The series will continue throughout the summer with a different theme each month, starting with “Locally Made” in July.

Shop Smart Window Clings

Window clings featuring the Shop Smart logo are available free of charge to businesses and organizations in Wyoming.

These window clings are red, white, and blue, as they appear here. They are sized as a 6" x 6" face sticking cling.
