Main Street Activities in Rock Springs: Became a Main Street Community. Secured land donation for public housing on Thompson St. and secured grant for housing assessment. Held URA Renewal Ball, raising $50,000 for downtown development. Knocked down two dilapidated buildings. Enabled Bunning Park to be brought onto Elk St. Received grant for Bitter Creek Redevelopment and several other grants. Had bi-monthly events downtown (Chocolate Festival, Halloween Stroll, Car Show, etc.).
