Main Street Activities in Laramie: Laramie Main Street has been highly involved in improving the downtown, from securing funds for analysis of the old Fox Theater building to heading the effort for a new community plaza at 1st and Grand. There have been many recent improvements to program projects, including the web site, newsletter and grant program. The presence of Laramie Main Street downtown continues to increase as we provide visible improvements such as new downtown banners and host events like the holiday window display contest.  Other current initiatives, such as the ongoing effort to light the Garfield Street Footbridge, will further expand the positive impact on the Laramie community.
